Is anyone having the same issue as me after the last major Android update on Samsung? Now it takes a good 10 mins for the phone connection to stabilise and not keep dropping out. To say it's annoying is an understatement

Mine seems to be OK. Bluetooth sometimes takes a while to establish connection but normally OK. Incontrol Apps also seem to be working 5% of the time which is an improvement as they normally failed to work 99% of the time!

Speaking on behalf of a regional Jag dealer in New Zealand there is serious issues here. I'm also a customer and since a software update on Samsung s8 2 months ago, phones been dropping off bluetooth every 10 seconds. Uninstall/ reinstall / re- pairing makes no difference. Another software install to mobiles 25 May made no difference. Dealers say it's not just Samsung. Its iPhone as well. Customer after customer complaining of no bluetooth anymore. Service desk at dealership have no idea what problem is. Does anyone know what is going on or what solution might be? Had hoped recent software install on phones would have patched problem but no luck. What the hell is happening?

There is already a topic on this issue on this forum below but more comprehensive comments on the following XE forum topics.

Some say it is only cars with ICT, some say other operating systems affected, some say other device types affected; some claim a solution, but unfortunately no all embracing resolution and some suggestions as to who needs to provide the remedy, ranging from Android to Jaguar.

I have the issue as an action requirement on my service due at the end of this week and will post if I get a resolution of any sorts.
