F Pace issues

Had our F-Pace for approx 2 years now, 17 plate 2l R-Sport, manual, with about 90k on the clock now.

After about 12 months it started developing problems, initially with engine warning light, told it was EGR Valve which was replaced (£400) and should be good to go.

Not long after, warning light comes back on, so back we go to be told now it's the DSP filter that needs changing (another £400 or so).

About 2 months after this, something goes in the engine bay, lost most power and it sounds like an 80's Vauxhall Nova so again it goes back. This time some piping had come lose meaning it wasn't circulating exhaust gases (hence the noise and loss of power) whilst they are fixing this, they also come back to say the timing chain needs doing (another 2k).

Again we come out and I notice since the work, both the exhaust and gearstick shaking violently in low gear and neutral, and there is a rattle from the engine bay, so again it goes back. Bottom engine mount is bust, this time they replace for free as to do the timing chain they said the mount came off, doesn't fix the issue so they do the top engine mount as that looks worn they then say an exhaust mount bracket was fractured so replace that too.

Success... to an extent it still isn't 100% but by this point they know who I am by first name when i pull up so I'm feeling a bit embarrassed, but that rattle is still there so today its gone back AGAIN (I count at least 8 times in the last 12 months) now they say the Cat is shot and it needs replacing... another 2k.

Apart from feeling like the most unfortunate F Pace owner on the planet has anyone else experienced issues like this?

I'm going to argue that the work they have done so far hasn't fixed the issue, and as it's been back so many times about the same issues and each time they have said 'it's fixed' or 'another 500 please to fix' it's gone beyond a joke now.

This is a main Jag dealer - they are now raising a claim to Jag to cover the repairs under warranty but I don't hold out much hope and think I'm going to have a battle on my hands.

Anyone with expertise on this and could help me explain in technical terms how to approach this would be appreciated!

Thanks
