No audio on Sat Nav!

Post by MICKEY62 » Mon Dec 02, 2019 4:36 pm

Hi there,

I have just purchased a 2017 FPACE and the Sat Nav works but without the audio telling me where to go!

I have pressed the Mute & Unmute on the touchscreen but it makes no difference at all!

The handbook is useless and I have not been able to find any useful help on the web!

So any input would be greatfully appreciated!

Cheers

Have you tried turning the volume button? From memory it remembers volume settings foe different things, radio, telephone and just maybe sat nav! Been a while since I played with my volume knob as I have everything set the way I like. I might be wrong but worth a try. However I do also recall somewhere in sat nav settings where you can turn sound off also!

Sounds daft but have you gone into sat nav options and turned guidance on?
May be worth trying that as well as the previous suggestion from Arnie.

If the above don’t work then download a map update and install that they have been known to sort out no sound problems.

You normally need to set a route guidance and the adjust the volume as it’s giving you directional commands. Otherwise turning the volume button just adjusts the audio volume instead.
