I wonder if the manufacturer has come up with any new ideas to protect the product that we buy ? Probably just a sweat tin with their logo on the lid... lol
Yes

“Hello sir , I’m sorry to hear your while Velar was stolen , but we do have a nice offer on that red one over there”

They don’t care ...it’s another sale.

Unfortunately "your special something" as you put it could get you locked away for a long stretch! Most probably for longer than the thieves.
Sorry i was protecting the life's of my family who felt in danger. ;)

That's all you need to say, "my families life was in danger."

I do not understand why the cars could not go into sleep mode if no button is pressed within say 2 minutes, that way when they are in your house it will not work and when you want to get into your car you just press the button.

The idea of walking up to your car and not having to press the button to open the car is a nice idea but rather have the inconvenience of pressing the button to get in if it means these idiots can not use there new toy to steal cars.

I have bought a couple of Faraday pouches which work great & I even use them when I am out & in a restaurant. In the house I use a biscuit tin as well as a pouch just in case of a failure, as has been mentioned. Oh yes & garaged as well.....paranoid or what!

I’ve got my keys in a biscuit tin! Will that be sufficient to block the thieves signal box?
I’ve also rather sadly started using a crook lock as well to be belt and braces

Just a thought, if you have 'In Control Protect' & the Phone App, does this not tell you where your car is parked, almost like a Tracker system to aid in recovering the car if it is stolen? If I am away anywhere, I can check my phone App & check that the vehicle is where I parked it. 8-)
