Aerial Cable Recall

My F-Pace was in the workshop yesterday for the latest ICT update and when I collected the vehicle the service receptionist advised me that they needed to change the aerial cable / USB. As they did not have one available they would replace it on my next visit.
Can anyone enlighten me?

I’d be asking the service manager and not the receptionist:2 distinct questions:
What fault they have found
What the replacement cable involves.

I did ask the receptionist who called the mechanic.

The answer its a note on my chassis number re a Technical Service bulletin, other than that they didn't have a clue!

So it’s a TSB and not a recall
Recalls are only for serious defects that affect the safety of the vehicle .

You have to be registered to use Topix, anyway really not that important I just thought it might be a common issue that someone could shed some light on.

Hi I searched on Topix for Ariel cable / usb but found nothing under Technical Service Bulletins , this was for MY18 .
Maybe once they do the job they will give you the TSB number on the print out.

Certainly not seen that on here before , but is good if they have found a defect.
Maybe others will turn up going forwards.

I heard back from my dealer today, this is a Service Action that requires the cable that connects the Infotainment master control module to the screen to be replaced as the existing "USB cable" is not of the correct specification. The job takes approximately 1 hour.
It would be interesting to know exactly what difference the change of cable will make!
