So farewell F-Pace

Post by crawfc » Sun Jul 08, 2018 9:54 pm

Spun in the snow at about 10 miles an hour, snow mode, no winter tyres.

4 months later, delays on getting the wiring loom - JLR unable to provide an indication as to how long it would take to custom make it, my insurer gave me a cash in lieu settlement.

New Audi RS4 sitting on the drive now. A very different car.

Loved many facets of the F-Pace but despaired at In Control Pro and useless DAB radio.

Sadly doubt I will ever but a Jaguar again

Energy absorbing aluminium.... better that than personal injuries. A bit of an extreme way to reject a car though :)

At least you were ok though , metal can be fixed and replaced , people can’t be.

Yep these summer tyres in snow are no good , once grip is gone your a passenger with no control.

Hope the Audi is good, there seems to be a fair few RS3/4 etc getting pinched lately so look after it.

To be fair, the front panels still look better aligned than some of the first produced models.......
