Perhaps you could return to the forum periodically and update us on how the change has gone!!
I just read that back to myself 🤦‍♂️,... and then couldn’t stop laughing 🤣🤣

Regards JC.
LoL - I will my friend. Good luck with your new FPACE as well, look forward to hearing how you get on. Meeting you at the factory tour seems an age ago right...

I rejected 2 new F paces which had unfixable problems as far as JLR customer relations were concerned and changed to a Velar 240D HSE in August 2020. The Velar was 1 year old Ex JLR management 10600 miles, loaded with extras the only fault being very rusty brake discs .JLR will not change these under warranty but as I saved £29500 on the purchase I can afford to fit Brembo discs all round which has improved the appearance through the alloys. 5000 trouble free miles added since and without a doubt the Velar is superior in every way to the F pace, the biggest feature being the air suspension which is not currently offered on the F pace.
Good to know, thank you. I have 4 friends with a Velars and they all seem pleased as punch. Worked out the car I have bought would have been £78k new a few months ago and I am now over loosing money on a brand new car...

Yes,.. seems a long time ago now,.. I still remember that poor chauffeur guy driving us in the stretched golf cart crashing into a parts bin next to line 🤣🤣.

He was so worried we would tell somebody and he’d lose his job🤦‍♂️.
Back then the only things we had to complain about was not getting the colours we wanted,.. and being told off for threatening to go over to lift the covers off the secret stuff 👍.
But it was a very good tour,.. I’m guessing they will reinstate them once the world gets back spinning on its normal axis again?
There’s nothing quite like the smell of a brand new car and collecting your personally optioned vehicle,.. however..... there’s also a lot to be said about saving all that money, and getting to spend it on something else special 👍.
I know I wil go back to a RR at some point,.. after all Jaguar have said they will be a lot more exclusive and consequently then too expensive,...
once the subscription services really take of,... we’ll all be renting / swapping and changing brands / tariffs just like phone deals and internet services of today.

One day people will look back in disbelief that we used to buy cars,.. with same shocked expressions that we were allowed to fuel our own cars , and handle very explosive liquids without so much as a care , license , luminous vest, or all day safety briefing 🤣🤣.

Nice. What spec is that, I can see the upgraded wheels and black pack? I am still pondering Velar or F Pace myself.

Its an absolute no brainer to buy a new Velar when these ExJLR registered cars are available with the huge savings. The spec on my car would have been £72000 new and after 12 months and 10600 miles I pay £42500. The preparation facilities at Bruntingthorpe do an excellent job and when mine was unloaded from the transporter I thought that it was brand new even down to supplying new mats.
Regretfully 2 F Paces behind me but now happily driving a 2019 R R Velar 2.0D 250 HSE Air suspension.Ex JLR managers steed so loaded with goodies except for rusting brake discs for which no warranty.
