Agreed Bob A,... most people look in awe when my boot opens up,..... some because a load of dog hair blows out,... sometimes because the boot is full of rubbish and manky old boxes for transporting stuff for work!
However ..... most are shocked by the category F3 wolf hybrid in the back looking back out at them!! ,.... like you say perfect for large dogs,.... but not a A typical Jaaaag owners dog I guess🤣🤣

Well to start the ball rolling...... I bought my car so not restricted in any way by lease or tax considerations. Financed using a PCP, but that means my capital is earning interest and not being eaten by a depreciating asset. Monthly payments from salary, but could settle the finance at any time. Its the way I’ve been buying cars for years.

Just reading between the lines of many of the posts on here, I’d guess that the majority of the 2.0 litre drivers are company car/lease drivers and those with V6s are the self financing owners. Bound to be exceptions to that rule though.
Umm, my car, my cash. Paying via PCP, but also as you have indicated could use my capital to buy outright. I prefer that JLR carry the anti-diesel risk. I didn't think the same car in the spec I wanted was worth an extra £10k just for the 3l engine, had it only been £2-3k extra I probably would have gone for the 3l.

Probably best not to generalise as there are many reasons why people buy the car they do.
