I'd be fairly happy to have a dinosaur like that in my garage.

Was looking at the reviews and they are all pretty consistent and just like this. Great car but the V8 is not winning any brownie points

I think its a decent review and im sure everyone realises now that we are at the end of an era. I suspect all ICE cars will be refered to in this way soon enough. Also I dont care it runs on dinosaurs.. its a very nice motor and I wish I could afford one teehee

I've always preferred good, "old", proven engines. Even though new engines are more efficient, faster and etc., every new engine is usually full of problems which will start being discovered in a few years. In my opinion a new engine needs 5 years so all its issues can be fixed. Then you can have a nice, problem-free ownership.

No denying it’s a dinosaur, but what a dinosaur! I’ve now owned 3 cars with the same engine. When I got my first XFR in 2009 it was noticeably more powerful than many of its rivals - now it’s “just” a fast charismatic V8 that still sounds great. Long live the supercharged V8.

Dinosaurs ruled the earth for 165 million years, and we’re still talking about them 65 million years after they went extinct. Not sure the SVR will have quite that longevity but still makes me drool 😀

I was thinking about upgrading my current V6 S to the SVR but wirh the current bombardment of science around climate change and individually doing our bit, I'm not sure I can now justify a car that pumps out over 5 times as much CO2 as the R model.
I think it's less about us loving dinosaurs still and more about consciously buying such a polluting beast.
I know the pollution given out by a few SVRs is minimal compared with big industry and air travel, all of which I consume, but if I can do a little bit more to reduce my footprint, I think I will.
Sorry, not a very petrol head thing to say!

Yeh, if they do that next time I'm more inclined to go for it.
I'm sure they will.
