Car doesn't beep as you approach speed cameras

Have 2017 portfolio f pace 2.0 awd diesel auto.

Every loan car ive had has beeped as you approach speed cameras but my own car doesn't

Is this because mine is a 2017 model ?

You have got the setting on the system to notify you of the cameras?

Alerts can be selected from the NAVIGATION SETTINGS menu. See SETTINGS.

The following options are available:

Manoeuvre details: A list of the next required manoeuvres.

Junction view: Active on multi-lane carriageways, when approaching a junction. Junction view shows the lane information for the next junction.

Low fuel Automatic Search: Available online and offline. Petrol stations are listed by price. The preferred station name and type of fuel can be selected.

Safety camera: Notification of safety cameras.

I assume the speed camera locations are part of the map data so are your maps up to date?

Don't think they have an issue with the locations just the fact the system does not give you a pre-warning beep.

Mine is 2016 (last map update 2019) and it beeps for speed cameras so you must find it in the options somewhere.

Nothing about safety cameras.
I got done for 35 in a 30 because no speed camera alert (and going 35 of course !)

@loads2 is your car fitted with the larger screen ICTP or the smaller screen. If it’s the smaller screen then I don’t think the speed camera beep is available.
