Interesting. FP Steve B 's 3.0 D V6 (2019 MY?) is on a 16,000 miles / 1 year service plan. Weren't the early one's on a 21,000 mile / 2 year plan like my 2.0 D? In another thread someone else said that new car's had switched to 16,000 miles / 1 year.

Mine's an "early one" 2016 delivery and my service schedule has been 16,000 32,000 and 48,000 not that the mileage has been anything like that.

It says of the JLR Service History website......" All of your Jaguar service history (including all scheduled services and related service items) will be stored securely online and is accessible only by Jaguar Approved Service Centres and you."
If you want a copy/printout then you have to contact your local dealer.

There is a confusion between service history and service schedule, Service History should show every time it goes into the dealer and actions taken eg - 12 month service 9000 miles. Service Schedule I’ve never looked at beyond the very high cost the dealer billed Jaguar for the contract!.

My car is out of warranty now. Previously I've looked at the service job schedule and most of the items are items to be checked eg. operation of wipers, operation of lights etc etc. To be honest I know when these things aren't working. An oil and filter change are easy to do yourself. Apart from the dealer plugging in their fault ready and making an entry to the Jaguar OSH I'm struggling to justify spending £500+. I paid my local Jaguar to change the rear pads but I've now discovered that they never lubricated the slide pins. I've rectified this myself but I'm not too impressed with main dealers.

I know it is a personal thing. If my jag was out of warranty and I never had a service plan I would be using a local garage in trust after ensuring they have access to the online recording system. The latter just got me to retain the online record accessible when trading in.

I haven't found any independents locally who have access to Jaguar's OSH. Until a couple of years ago you could upload your own OSH but I guess Jaguar bowed to their dealers' pressure and withdrew that😡

FP Steve B Mine would have done yesterday but he said first check your service invoices as they should have been attached. He was right, they were. Never bothered looking at them or the very detailed invoice as I have the 5 year service plan. All is good.
