Perspex plate under Jaguar badge

Post by Barry » Wed Oct 09, 2019 8:27 am

I am new to Jaguar and yesterday evening I picked up my new F Pace Chequered Flag; one thing I noted is the perspex plate under the Jaguar badge; I thought they had removed this, so what is it for as it spoils the look of a great car? Also after time this will surely get scratched and dirty that will further spoil the look. :!:

It’s the sensor for the adaptive cruise control.
Cars that don’t have it don’t have adaptive cruise.
I deliberately didn’t tick that box, as I too think it spoils the front of the grill.
I think adaptive cruise is standard on most models now though?

Thanks for the quick response; for me that is a poor show, such a fabulous vehicle yet spoiled with a plastic plate under the main badge :o

If you do a lot of motorway miles it is worth the small blemish! I love the active cruise it works very well.
