The old Service Plan was £800 ish as they just phased it out when I was going to buy it! I'm not sure that the new one is worth it, a 'minor' service on the 3ltr diesel is £430 ish & the major £625 ish at my main dealer. Therefore is you do plan to change your vehicle at three years you could get away with just the 2 services. I know AdBlue is covered under the Service Plan but that is only £30 for a full refill at present if you do it outside of the service. Thoughts? 8-)

Depends on your driving style and how many starts, how many short journeys vs long and mileage. It's based on an algorithm. Mine calls for service every 10 to 12,000 miles which is roughly 12 months.

Doesn't the service interval depend on the engine?

I have a 19 plate 300 Sport petrol engine. The car has now done 2.8K miles and is saying next service due is oil service is 17.XK miles which would make the interval 2 years or 20K miles surely?

It recognised my registration for the i4 300PS petrol engine and the price it came up with was £1923.25 for 3 years worth of services, (option to pay monthly was offered and worked out at the same cost).

I am glad I got mine when I did as last year it was £760 for 5 annual services or maximum of 17,000 miles between services over a 5 year period. Mine also covers the MoT tests at end of year 3 and year 4. No mention of this in the new plan. Plan administration is still with the same Company, EMaC.

I sometimes wonder why same car same brand gets different treatment on the other side (USA).

MY18 F Pace, 25t R sport, Firenze red, and some options.
Ex owner of Mercedes C200 AMG Line premium plus. I keep comparing the options and get disappointed sometimes JAG is missing out from half priced car.

Interesting, quite expensive by US standards, no diesel offered so no oil dilution problem 5yr servicing goes some way to allay the reliability issue.

I think you will find MOT cover is only for any work needed to pass MOT but not wear and tear (brakes, tyres, bulbs etc.) and not the cost of MOT test also for the diesel 20d it is 2years or 21,000 miles between services so only 2 services in 5 years

Thanks for checking that, £1923.25 though.
£600 more for a 2l Petrol compared to the 3l diesel or SVR V8...wonder why that’s the case.

I agree with you Black300Sport, I would be looking for an independent to do my servicing. I am sure you can find one that will do it for less than £640 per service. In fact my dealer is advertising fixed price services at £630 per service, so cheaper than buying up front!
