Has there still not been any cars released to press ? was looking forward to there reviews
There ‘should’ be press cars and demonstrators next month... but they’ll probably be delayed like everything else!!
I wonder if Jaguar can make it a full year from launch to the press getting a car? IIRC it was unveiled at the New Your Auto show on 27 March last year...
SVR took too long so it's a C63s AMG Estate for me. F-Pace next time...?

Not if the RRSport SVR is anything to go by; they'll command a premium for some months when launched.

I was one of the first to take delivery of my RRSport SVR in 2015 and I could have easily sold it for £8-10k over list price within the first few months. As it was I sold after 6 months & 8000 miles and still made £2,000! You look at early 2015 RRS SVRs now and they're still holding 65-70% of their original value 4 years on - not many other mainstream cars that do that.

Of course Jaguars may well be a different story......!

Values will depend on how the car is reviewed in the press - I remember the RRS SVR getting lots of 5 star reviews. Suddenly everyone wants one and supply and demand does the rest. I'm not expecting to same for the F-Pace SVR but will be delighted if I am wrong!

Well considering you can already get £7k off the list price (if you shop around), I think my forecast is looking good. We are in a completely different market environment now than in 2015. Demand has fallen, particularly in China which was driving all of JLR's growth, and extra tariffs post BREXIT won't help. I think the next 12 months will be one of the best for new car buyers for a long time, and I suspect Jaguar will have to give more discounts than most, particularly for high-priced models. We'll see......

I would not be so sure, look how many 5 star reviews were give when the Fpace first came out yest we all know different now.

I think you have to realise the motoring press do not tend to give bad reviews as it hurts future review offers of future cars.

Not sure if this has been covered before, but was told today that the delay is down to tyres. Apparently they have a tendency to explode under the strain! Expecting dealer demo SVRs in april. I assumed the dealer meant 2019

I have a delivery date earlier than April. I thought the demonstrators would be coming before the customer orders?
I had heard from somewhere that the tyres on the demo models were only capable of 150mph.

RRSport SVR has been out for some time and uses 295/40/22. With a 112 load rating, and Y speed rating (186mph). Have they gone for something different on the FPSVR? :?
