F-Pace SVR coming soon?

I know there have been a couple of mentions on here - can't find any confirmation though - about the possibility of a mythical F-Pace.

I have very recently been informed by a reliable source* - and I've seen it being tested - that the F-Pace SVR will arrive later this year.

5.0 supercharged V8, as in the F-Type. almost 600hp, with uprated everything.

Rumoured to be sensibly priced (if something like this can be sensible) at about £60k for the base model.

Local dealer would neither confirm nor deny, but did say say Jaguar are planning to go further down the performance route with all cars, as the new XE would signify.

I know there are a couple of vids doing the rounds from the Nurburgring etc. so it seems to back up the info.

Comments or other news anyone?

*Not a bloke down the pub ;)

Interesting to see what body mods it incorporates - new front/rear valance?
From the spy shots that looks the case.

Although I hope it looks similar, then the wife might not notice if I change mine and keep the same colour combo

You may have to sneak out at night to fill the tank in case she notices every trip to the shop starts with a visit to your local filling station!

That would be lovely, but with the V6 variants already at £52k, I think you can expect something between £70k and £80k as a starting price.

If it is £60k, I'll be trading mine in to get one immediately :) (Smiley face, but I'm deadly serious....!)

Have to agree i can see it being a 80K plus car as they do not tend to offer much less in the base model then the one with all the options.

We'll see. FType, price of R vs S is £20k, but SVR is another £20k on top of that. Mid to high £70's still my guess.

You need to look at the competition.... BMW X5M £90k, Mercedes GLE 63 £94k and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo £96k.... why would Jaguar miss out on all that extra profit by under sell the F-Pace SVR at £60k, I reckon on this bit of the information your source is miles wide of the mark.

Going on past JLR prices, marketing come up with a ridiculously high price knowing the public will still pay.

Put me down for starting price £83k going up to £87k with special paint.

If past experience is anything to go by, there will only be 2-3 paint options and limited interior - black, black or black

I would've bought an XFR-S if the interior wasn't so dull...

A fully loaded F Pace S is about £66k, the SVR will have limited options, so I still think early £70k's starting with maybe £80k if you have kitchen sink thrown in..... If it's a sweepstake, I'll take list price of £72,950 :)

£88k will get you a nice 5.0 s/c Range Rover Sport, £98k a lovely SVR, but if you look at the conflabulator, not many options and most are no cost..

Personally I wouldn't pay it but my gut says if its performance matches the others then around £88-90k is most likely.

I can hear the words, "Buy Me".... my bet is around £85k. and a special One off paint colour that will only be used twice on other models 😎😂

£76,500 for me. Closest wins an SVR....?
No. Closest wins an Audi and a pair of matching shoes......
...with the shoes having more 'steering feel'....

If the SVR sounds like this.....

If not, and the front spoiler is similar design, it could be on my Xmas list!

Very nice.
Not sure on that rear boot spoiler, looks like when first tested around the track they felt the car needed more down force on the rear end so they sent an apprentice to the nearest Halfords.
Still looks, drives and sounds Great.
