Got the meridian 825 watt system with 17 speakers but I can not find where the subwoofer is located on the car, anyone know it's exact location as I don't think my new first edition subwoofer is working?
I guess it will depend on what type of seats you have as I would assume the more adjustment you have the more motors ect would need space, the idea of the sub under the front seat Is a good one as personally I think if they fitted the same setup as in the Evoque we would not be talking about the system in the same way we are presently.luminated said:^Have yet to look under the front seats to see if there's any room but if there were it might be worth considering adding a shallow powered sub enclosure under one of the front seats, though these units have limited true bass potential all you are wanting is to boost what's already there.
There's lots of choice from the likes of Vibe, Focal, Kenwood, Pioneer to name but a few.
I should have said I have the standard 380w system.yes-pace said:Doug - I took delivery of my F-PACE on Friday. I have the 380w audio system with ICTP and it *does* have a subwoofer adjustment control.
From initial use of the system I'm impressed with the bass sound, and can certainly get a good thumping sound from the subwoofer.
There are two 380W systems. The system that comes with the ICT does not have a DSP and does not have a separate sub control. The ICTP upgrade gives you DSP and sub-channel control.Doug said:I should have said I have the standard 380w system.yes-pace said:Doug - I took delivery of my F-PACE on Friday. Reading posts that the FP system sound wasn't a good as the evoque and I never much liked the RRE sound I was fully prepared to be disappointed, but ITS GREAT sounds a lot better in my hears anyway.
I would have liked a separate sub level control though

Do you need to register to get any info? All I get is a picture of an FPace and a picture of a speaker grille?Jagfpacejk said:Take a look here for more information on the Meridan upgrade on the 380 and 825 watt versions.

. . . you too?Jagfpacejk said:That's probably panel vibration as they put in uprated stereos but don't do anything about sound deading the door panels so they rattle and hum.
Sounds like you need a face-lift mate!Jagfpacejk said:Yes as you know I have had two faces and both suffer from panel rattle and they both had creaking noises
I would say i have gone the other way, it has more rattles and squeaks in my new car then the older one, i will track them down and deal with each one though.JLRnumber5 said:Sounds like you need a face-lift mate!Jagfpacejk said:Yes as you know I have had two faces and both suffer from panel rattle and they both had creaking noises
My first FP had quite a few buzzes and rattles, the replacement absolutely zero. Definitely the quietest and most rattle free car I have ever owned. It feels extremely solid and well put together.

Any chance someone took this to the next level and identified the subwoofer signal wires? I would like to add an aftermarket system (lc2i)...jonnyvtec said:The sub is in the rear left wheel arch with the port into the wheel arch panel just below the seat belt.
The grill is the intake for the ICTP module cooling system.
Sorry no, sold the car before I got to deep into these issues.Architect said:Any chance someone took this to the next level and identified the subwoofer signal wires?
