Hi Jim 109b,
I never thought of trying that, I'm glad because this morning when I checked traffic on Apple Maps it showed my local roads as clear yet when I started ICTP it showed traffic queues which were correct, so that is an interesting combination for me to play with.

I’ve had 19A installed on my car today, so far so good. Everything I’ve tried has worked, radio, music library, Nav, Live, data sim, phone, voice for both nav and music. I also had the smartphone pack added FOC, again no problems here with Apple CarPlay, connection fine, Siri, music, maps, google maps all work great.

So currently I would recommend this update as I’ve found no faults, will try it out further over the next few days and will report any failures. One thing I’ve not tried is does it remember the position on the playlist when using the music library, hopefully it does.

It still doesn’t remember which song was playing and goes back to the first in the list, the player also seems more flaky today it said the song list was corrupted, never had that before. A quick selection of shuffle all songs sorted that issue.

FYI there was an update to android auto this week, UI has been revamped, it now uses the entire touch screen, very impressive

That's fantastic news re android auto taking up the full screen now - do the colours look more crisp and less washed out than before by chance? (it looked v drab vs ictp to me)

Shame about the track memory still not working,,,

The download Music Player is pretty much unusable on 19A as it keeps throwing up corruption errors. I’ve gone back to a USB stick at least this works but hardly ever remembers the position it was in after a restart.

Another positive 19A experience here, and Android Auto working without an issue. The only issue I've found is that the DAB channels still aren't showing any station-specific logos (which was the stated reason for updating the software) - does anyone get the logos?

I did initially get a corrupted queue error with the Media Library, but after selecting a new track it fixed the problem.

@hitman - thanks for the tip about the Android Auto widescreen. Makes it much more nicer. I was rather expecting it just to work, given that the app update description stated widescreen support, but found that I had to enable the widescreen/720p/1080p options in the AA Developer options.

And it's now fixed and seems fine, voice now working, NAV talks to me...I think this version is overall pretty good.

Still the exact same 19A build number, and from what they said today, it rather sounds like a incomplete install (and poor testing) as they just seemed to reset some bits today. Car was ready by lunchtime.
