Hi Watsonroger

I'd F-Pace Portfolio and last week upgraded my ICTP to v4 and voice activation button on the steering wheel works properly.

Had mine MY18 updated to Phase 4 last week, and it seems to boot faster, certainly engages the all-round/reverse cameras a lot quicker, and seems a bit more stable. Early days yet and a couple of long drives over the next few months will test it better.

An annoyance however is the fact that our digital displays have not (and seemingly can't) be updated to provide the same view as that being rolled out with MY19 cars - where the dials are on the outside, with the information panel/map etc in the centre between the two. I also continue to have the issue where apparently there is no option to change the digital speedometer from MPH to KPH, although I can change the analogue speedo (dial) from MPH to KPH.

Regards,
M

Has anyone with V4 tried using the browser and setting a home page and favourites?
I have a similar problem in V4 . My home address in navigation always disappears.
Thanks, car in today to sort out a number of issues of which some I'm assured the update to V4 will resolve.

Dealer advises that the loss of the voice activation after V4 upgrade is a known issue and will be 'fixed' after another software update, planned now for Sept. when next at the dealer.

Can anyone tell me if this little anoyance is fixed in phase 4 please?
When switching off media doesn’t mean it’s off 🤔

Stop car, into park , turn off engine , turn off media by dashboard button ,all is quiet .

Disconnect IPhone that was previously playing music through usb and guess what ....the radio comes back on , so I switch off media via dashboard button again.

Funny little annoyance

Have asked what it's for, but as of yet, no reply.

It's funny really. I was probably one of the first to have 4.0 loaded, yet apart from a brief look at the home screen, I've never been able to use it in over two months and now it's in the right place for the next release!!!

The XF loaner with helmet edition 3.5 is just as flaky as mine was!

Apparently the release is for the dealers installation software & not for us mere mortals..

Anyway, presumably future updates are done by us anyway?! (Not that the dealer realised this yesterday...)

So...

After extensive testing of mine over 2 1/2 months & comparing it with other customers cars and ones in the dealership, it seems my problems with ICTP are common to them all....

So....

If yo think yours works 100%, then you just haven't used all the functions!

Great, isn't it?

Got it back Monday, and apart from the three menu front screen, just the bleedin same.
