I want WiFi on all the time so Cloud connectivity is always active. I'll find the kit I bought on Amazon (yet to be wired) and post links. Was hoping to locate all out of sight above front passenger legs under dash.

I couldn't agree more, let us know how Halford's goes, sounds a lot simpler

A dash cam is a video camera that includes speed and location info. It's a poormans black box useful for proving Muppets live down to their names. In SE London there are enough out there with probably no driving licence from what I can see. I hope to never use mine but that's the same with car insurance.

Take a look at any of these threads, loads of info . . . the forum's search box makes it easy to find stuff like this if you put "dashcam" into it....

I have looked through them all and cannot find what i'm looking for, most of these kind folk have fitted them personally.
This is something that I really would like to avoid, I am just seeing if anyone has had one fitted and happy that the hard wiring being is concealed nicely. Someone mentioned Halfords and the RAC but no news on standard of work.
