I have the ICT system just been updated to 4.0 but my vehicle does not have the apps or a SIM slot. I just received this from my service dealer, so according to him my Simless system will be upgraded to Apple CarPlay.

"A new Smartphone Pack is soon to be available which will provide access to Apple CarPlay and Androidauto, It will also include a software update for InControl.

I will let you know as soon as it is released and we’ll have you round for the upgrade".
So you have the standard ICT not the Pro? I was told it wouldn’t be available for the ICT Standard.
Did you get that info from Jaguar?
Jaguar F-Pace Grey 2.0D R-Sport Black Pack with 21" Black Alloys, Wi-Fi, Leather, Lane Departure, Privacy Glass, Pano Roof, 10 Way Electric Seats, Powered Tailgate and InControl Touch.

This is from the EPace forum, but is the same response I got from CRC on twitter.

The good thing about apple car play is that it isn't really an app. It's just a repeater of your phone. It's the iPhone's responsibility to start and run apps, all the ICTP brings to the party is a touch screen and speakers. I've used car play before and it's great - can't wait to get it on the Jaguar.

I notice in the last pictures they have also moved the Speed and Rev counter dials to the sides with the info section to the middle on the dashboard. Making it the same as the Velar, another move forward as opposed to moving them around when Dynamic is selected, etc. Changing the colours is fine but swapping the dials over is just a distraction.

I wonder if this will be backwards compatible with older vehicles, I.e. my MY17 one :D
Oct 2016 - 2.0 D, Portfolio, Auto, AWD, Ultimate Black, Light Oyster, 14-Way Front Seats with Passenger and Drivers memory pack, electrically adjustable steering wheel, 360⁰ parking aid, ICTP 380W, LED headlights, remote rear seat release.

Stupid question but how do you determine the MY? Mine is 18 registration, picked up new in March this year. Does that make it an 18MY?
