Yes it might be a 3 hr Job but hopefully they can get you in this week. Even if booked up they can squeeze you in or they can request car from,Jag. Hopefully you can speak to somebody at dealer and sort.
Just spoke to Harwoods and looking at 3_005_07 on their system it is dated ' January 2017' and not a new one - they are not aware of any update in the last week.....

They could fit me in to do it, albeit without a loan car for the day, but only if there is ctually a new update!

Have you any more info on what Guy Salmon are going to try with yours?
Hmm that’s odd. I wanted to go Down there anyway for another reason but saw update go top of list at 5pm last Thursday.
Maybe that’s the old one. My first start did have a 10 second black screen.
They applied it anyway as maybe it was later than the patch I had.
I’ll check Topix.

Confused dot com.... Why even Jaguar Customer Services are unable to publish/provide a full list of updates for their cruddy system is beyond me....

When is yours going in?

My car was at the dealer to update my V3 today. No success. Dealer will contact JLR UK to change complete unit.
This is the version I see in the navigation setup

Right, mine went in today for the long startup fault and the usb music problem as previously described. Also heated rear screen was set as on from starting the car. Apparently been told that this is normal in cold weather and is temperature dependant. Also had AEB warning light appear for one afternoon.
Was told that after contacting jaguar the dealer was told that there is another update due but couldn’t say when it will be available. Dealer will ring me when they get it!

They don’t publish this as not all cars are subject to updates and unless your car is listed on they update list or you have a dealer who can get the update done for you and persuade Jaguar to do the update you can’t have the update, the dealer only gets paid to do the updates when Jaguar allow the work to be done so they do not offer the updates to everyone, only people with ongoing issues or problems.

I received an email yesterday from Amellia saying a new ICTP update had just been released.

Since they replaced some of the hardware and reloaded all the software some weeks ago the only issues I have are:

Web browser won't remember home page or favourites. Settings revert back to delete all personal data when browser is closed.
After loading the ICTP app on to my Samsung S8 and my wife's J5 the car will no longer recognise them as Android devices.
Presumably due to the above can't run apps from phone.

I have asked if the update will resolve all or any of these issues and await a response.

On a positive note due to my car being in the dealers for weeks while they sorted out the very slow ICTP startup issues coupled with the mess made of sorting out my service pack (I.e. despite paying for it I didn't have one for a year) the dealers and JLR between them provided me with a skinny spare wheel and kit which I had not ordered when I purchased the car, not realising that without it you don't get a jack, etc.

So for me I'm very happy with my car now as I don't use any of the apps from the phone (only found out it didn't work when testing for another forum member) and very rarely use the browser as phone is normally more convenient.
