A few head units have needed to be replaced and one chap has had only latest version of 3 installed , his dealer advising the upgrade is on hold

Might be worth those having it booked in that it will still go ahead.
It may be just one dealer ,neutrons they managed to brick his system.

Long time listener - first time caller.

Had mine since March 17 - no issues until Feb / March this year when mapping display and turn by turn stopped appearing on virtual dash. Lived with it but annoying. Then received recall for ICTP and booked in as dealer said all will be fixed with the upgrade. V4 release notes do seem to cover my issue.

Took it in last Monday and it's still there. Upgrade "failed" and they "had no idea what to do - this is the first one that's happened to". Running lots of "tests" and now want to fit a new "overlay harness". This is all rubbish - I suspect they've bricked it.

So - is the consensus on here that a new head module is required and that they just don't fancy doing that on warranty?

Loaner Disco Sport 150 is not doing it for me.....

I have had Patch 4.0 installed today no issues, car in for just the one day with a loaned E Pace.

Everything seems fine after I’ve logged things back in and set preferences to my choosing, quite like the new home page.

Thats a double kick in the teeth. That loan car is the most miserable drive ever. I had one when my fpace was in for a few days last year. Its an utterly depressing sea of black plastic drivel. In fact its probably faux plastic its that dreary.

Also of interest would be if the digital display layout has changed to match that of the MY19 (with dials either side of a central information/map/media panel) ?

M.
Didn't look any different behind the wheel to me.... Unless there is a new menu 'theme'....

Digital display lay-out has not changed in my MY18 after the update
That is rather annoying, as I believe that the MY19 Digital Dials are set with the Speedo and Tacho on the outside, with the variable display area in the middle (trip, clock, media, map etc) I assume then that you can still make the map "full screen" although I'm not sure if that then drops the dials to two smaller versions (ala Audi Virtual Cockpit) or if they disappear altogether as ours currently do !

Would be nice if we got our Digital Dials updated to align with the MY19 style too !

Hello All,

Love this forum, especially the threads on ITCP! Very interesting, even to us non-Fpace owners ...

My Dutch MY18 XE came with ITCP 2.0 a few months ago. According to my dealer because v3.5 would not play nice with my iPhone X.

Has anyone been able to use ITCP 4.0 with the iPhone X successfully yet?
If so: Does messaging and InControl Apps finally work?

In advance: thank you for any feedback: please keep up your great posts!

This is exactly the same as the layout in the Range Rovers Sport and Velar. This latest release also appears to be what is being loaded on these new vehicles.
