Specc'ing 19" Bionic alloys for my Portfolio costing additional £820. Standard is 19" Razor's.
Both have same tyre size. I see Rimmers are selling Jaguar Bionics for £473 including VAT, thinking let the car come with the standard alloys, buy Bionics independently and have tyres changed over, leaving me a brand new set of razor alloys and change ££ . Is this to easy a thought?

Sounds good to me, I would do it if they were the same, others wouldn't be bothered with the extra aggro of course

Yep just had a look, that does look like a per wheel price...

Rimmer bros prices are per wheel, unfortunately no bargains if you want OEM wheels.

The F-Pace accessory PDF which you can find online has the full list price of the wheels and aftermarket accessories. Sit down before reading!

Lol thanks was a last minute scan obvious when I went back and looked, but thought it was a set at first. Many thanks finalised my spec now and off to Milton Keynes tomorrow to place my order, asking for March delivery for various reasons and hopefully built after they have made all the fixes possible.

There are a couple of specialist courier companies that will transport your alloy wheels across the UK. For this size of wheel I think you are looking at between £50 - £75 for the set.

Here's the link: https://www.paisleyfreight.com/alloy-wheel-courier

I haven't used these folk yet but researched them because I have a set of Volvo 18" winter alloys that I will be selling in January after our ski trip for Xmas / New Year to the Austrian Tyrol (highly recommended by the way). Our car gets put back onto her 20" summer rims and then sold privately prior to collecting the F-Pace in March 2017.

Anyway, whether you want the wheels or not - keep these folks in mind? The reviews are predominantly positive with the odd issue here and there. I would use them.

Regards

Arianne thanks for the suggestion, the biggest problem is the packaging, this company say each wheel wrapped in bubble wrap and then cardboard. I have just sold the winter wheels I have for the GLC and only accepted the buyer collecting (still waiting), I originally bought them from Germany and they arrived on a pallet, delivered by fork lift truck (not all the way from Germany you understand, just from the lorry!)

Jagfpacejk I am near Heathfield, only seen one FP near here, a Quartzite portfolio.

Just re-read the packaging details for the company suggested and the bubble wrap is for cars, for 4x4 wheels a pallet is required.
You could try companies like Interlink or DPD they will take the alloy wheel if suitably packaged and do not require a pallet as in the past I have used them for shipping wheels I have sold without issues.

Yes I did not see any for a month or two then I have seen one red and one grey and only yesterday a black one driving around so I guess as more and more get sold the more we will see.

I am yet to see another 1st edition blue like mine though ;)
