I've put my sun glasses in their holder in the ceiling but can;t open the glass holder - has anybody had the same issue?

Yes I've had this. I think I may have put the glasses in the wrong way round.

A bit of whacking it open and closed (limited motion as it was stuck) seemed to free it.

Perfect!! My Oakley glasses won't fit so stuck Wifey's in there, but prefer the activity key option!!

Face down, top of the frame facing into the vehicle. Never had an issue once I worked out that was optimal. Prior to that (in my XE) it was a regular workout.
