Was in Dynamic mode and stopped to buy petrol. Then drove to shops. When I restarted and drove away I got an error fairly soon saying something about not being able to use dynamic.

Cleared message and tried pressing it again and got an error saying Special Modes Unavailable.

Hoping it clears in the morning (was in a hurry!).

Anyone else had this?

Yeah had this a few months back, it kept getting worse until I was stuck in Normal mode for good. Needed a trip to dealer who did some reset/update and it has been fine since then.

I was three times this month in dealer, the problem is still occuring. Dealer did some software upgrade, but 15 kilometres from dealer it occured again. My warranty will end by end of february and I have feeling that dealer is waiting til it ends... now I am booked february 2nd, very courious if it will be sorted on time...

Yes I hope You are right. Now I am booked for exchange of height sensor somewhere near front left wheel, as dealer told me this causes my problems. But dealer also told me, after three years, when my warranty ends, it does not count I reported this or any other problem...everything ends with end of warranty. I hope it is only personal mistake of the guy which told me this. I do not believe this can happen, even if I live in country, like this.../Slovak republic/

Wait to see what will happen and you will have to play "the angry customer" if things go wrong. Ask to see the manager and explain the problem had been reported long before the warranty ended. They must fix it... for example if an engine failed 1 month before the warranty ended and you had to wait for 2 months for an engine to arrive and to be fitted, then what? They would order the engine under warranty and then eventually tell you have to pay for it because the warranty expired meanwhile? I don't think so.

It was their fault they couldn't fix the issue for 2 months.

So I tested the front left height sensor, after I unplugged it, the dynamic drive failure immediately occured on dashboard. So I think this is culprit of the problem, maybe it can help to anybody else. Will report after feb 02, dealer will change the sensor / and thermostat also/

Engine can not reach operating temperature, the gauge shows only 1/4 temperature /first mark on gauge/, not 1/2 like before /middle of gauge/. After driving in higher speed, the temperature drops even more 2-3 milimetres. Torque PRO shows something about 70 C after 50 kilometers drive. Fuel consumption increased about 1,5 liter per 100 kilometers / 7,4 vs 9,1/

You can try to contact Jaguar directly (btw, I've seen there is a Jaguar customer service representative in the forum) and tell them the situation. It doesn't seem normal to me to wait for a thermostat for a month or even worse - unknown period of time.

on friday 12th., both parts changed by dealer. Everything seems to work fine. Next day I had to fill nearly liter of coolant fluid and dealer filled windscreen washer bottle with clear water....so next morning it was frozen...
