I'm admittedly not the number one fan of ammonite, but this vid really does a great job of trying to 'turn' me!

Good video and an effective advertisement for detailing too.
I'm very happy with my choice of colour after that!!

That's detailing and why a proper treatment should cost a lot of money. Taking the wheels off !
Really looks stunning when done - big difference and look at the difference as they polish up.
Good job I'd say

Any idea of the cost of such a service?

Price list from £250 but expect around £400 - £600 for a proper job and protection I'd say.
Who's going to do 1-3 days work for less.

The product used to create the beading effect is GYEON Q2M wetcoat which is very effective on paint and plastic.
Available from E bay £19.95 for a litre spray bottle

That's the thing with all these products. £20 - £50 gets you all product you need but it's the bloody hours of effort and detailing. I'll happily pay a fair bit for that effort as vowed never to do,it again.
Did my XF and it took forever

Useful to know though for those who enjoy prepping and polishing a car :)
