We are at a level of detail only an enthusiast/forum member would know, the rest of the world will have no clue other than "oo I like/don't like it with the bigger wheels!"
Points absolutely agreed with. The ''S' satin silver rear valance is 'Mocca/Quasqai-esque', the 4-cyl Volvo XC60 R-Sport does indeed have aggressive looking separate twin exhausts that do not bely it's merely adequate performance (albeit the one I'm driving also has 18's and just looks a little odd!), increasingly I'm seeing separate exhausts on the most mundane-engine'd of cars. Indeed, the majority of people won't know spec what they are looking at anyway and just notice the 22" wheels!
Whilst the standard S-spec satin chrome does to me go a little wrong at the rear here's how I intend to live with it....
- Dark Sapphire Blue would lose the black pack against the colour and could look a little too 'Gangsta' for my 41-year old horticulturalist, parent-of-one status
- Having the rear valance alone wrapped in shiny black could make the car look a disjointed
- Jaguars to me should be about luxury, class and sophistication blended with an undercurrent of power and aggression. I think the classic Jag DSB colour coupled with the chrome to accentuate the large front air intakes on my car nail it
- The satin chrome elements of the 'S' are Mr Callum's original design, see First Edition - he doesn't get much wrong so, as mentioned earlier, why buy one and then cover-up those elements to make it look like the majority of other F-Paces on the road when in the case of DSB they actually compliment the paint colour (not the case with the majority of the other colours available - Ammonite, IRR, Rhodium, whites without black pack would not have worked for me)
