I bought this instead for my good lady at the weekend as I thought no protection would be good enough to stop my dogs making a mess, it will have a canopy and the dogs will not see the inside of my SC :D :D

It's a Ford...not something I've owned since I was in my twenties...

All helpful answers appreciated, as I want to order from dealer soon.
Sorry for disrupting your thread but couldn't resist, obviously an UNhelpful answer.....

But for what it's worth having seen both the options you mention no I don't think it will work without diy surgery to the flip out protection....

Oh an badge snobbery don't you just love it.....

Happy motoring :D :D :D :D

It's not badge snobbery, I grew up in Essex...Ford's everywhere and I've owned a lot in my younger days including plenty of capri's, cortina's and escort's.
I still drive the Edge when I'm in Canada.

Like most, you try to improve and aspire in life. Never owned a Jag and can't afford your one either...

We need one car, that's ticks a lot of boxes including a dog. It's ordered and I was try trying to ask a boring question on a car forum site. :)

Well I will try and be helpful this time then :D

If you search users on the site and find Paul C and look through his posts in one he posted about a company that produce a complete boot liner, from memory that goes up the sides and the back of the rear seats as well as having over bumper protection, it would seem something like that with the boot divider sat above it might be the ideal solution.

I however have one dog that travels wonderfully in our 7.5t horse lorry put him in the car and he starts drooling like mad and then shakes his head, the final straw was the drool hitting the inside of the windscreen in the wife's discovery, YUK when she was driving 10 days ago   hence descion to replace her tired disco with a pick up which can be hosed out after projectile drooling dog has been in the load area :D

BTW There some lovely 70's and early 80's Fords on the roads near me, I even briefly started hankering after an old escort Mexico and then though better of the idea, although the Mk2 1600e Cortina and early Crapies also look good but fortunately I have no garage room.....

It's not hilarious if you get dog saliva sprayed all over the rear of the car, picture below its a German Shorthaired Pointer on the right aka GSP's, not the ridgeback who looks at him when he does this as if to say you complete dipstick   and how long do I have to lie next to that idiot  :D :D

I have the Jag F Pace full boot liner which goes up the sides and up the rear seats and has a bumper cover. It's in accessories. very pleased with it - took 4 weeks to come though.
Also I got it for free as part of my "compensation" for f****** up on my adaptive dynamics
