Advice please - does the petrol ingenium engine have a particulate filter? I've read that some petrol engines, eg VW, do have them. My 250t has felt a tad sluggish the last couple of days and the average mpg has dropped by 25% for some reason. Only reason I can think of is the PF regenerating, or trying to regenerate as I've only done short journey's recently, but there's no icon on the display to confirm anything.

MY18 doesn't but from MY 19 onwards they do
In the petrol it shouldn't use any more fuel , it's a passive system, unlike the diesel where additional fuel is injected to burn soot., the petrol engine operates at a higher temperature than diesel so extra fuel not needed.
