Jaguar has given the F-Pace support vehicle a special livery to celebrate Team Sky's third Tour de France overall win in four years. The F-Pace sported a celebratory light camouflage yesterday in Paris to mark Chris Froome's victory in the world's most important cycling competition.

The F-Pace SUV's livery included key moments from the 2015 Tour de France, including Chris Froome winning Stage 10 in La-Pierre-Saint-Martin followed by teammate Richie Porte, Geraint Thomas tackling the mountains and Luke Rowe leading the team out on the cobbles to the early team time trial stages.

Jaguar says the F-Pace's electric power-assisted steering likewise "incorporates all of the learning from F-Type", claiming the crossover model "responds immediately to the slightest input, giving a truly connected feel".

The engine line-up is still to be confirmed, but expect the F-Pace to be offered with the XE's Ingenium four-cylinder diesel, with up to 58mpg economy and 130g/km CO2. A selection of petrols will also be offered, including a range-topping 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 with over 500PS.
