So much to learn about the car at the moment and in fairness, most can be learnt with a bit of playing about. Currently stuck on this...
I want/expect the Jaguar illuminated tread plates on the doors and in the boot to illuminate automatically at night when they are opened. So far I have not seen them lit once. Are there any controllers for these hidden in the depths of the controls?
Secondly, I am not sure if my boot light is working. I have not a chance to test with me opening it at night following me immediately turing off the car. On my two commutes home so far (only had it full time since Saturday), I have finished a phone call before leaving the car. The follow-me home lights turn off and the car is pitch black in the boot when I open it. No internal boot light comes on which is odd (nor the illuminted scuff plate).
Both of these should be coming on automatically when opened and particularly at night.
Any help is appreciated. I cannot find anything in the online manual to help.
