Confirmation in writing from my dealer just now that they have the "comprehensive" update for ICTP and it's going into my car from Monday so will report back!

Hope it goes well JLR, will be interesting to see how it turns out for you. I could live with the few minor intermittent problems my ICTP has but ideally would prefer to have these corrected. I'm a little wary of having the update as it may make matters worse.

Seems pre-emptive if the rest of the "assurance programme" updates don't come through until the 7th - my dealer actively told me not to bring it inon the 1st because JLR delayed the release of the additional updates - wouldn't want to put it in for Patch 3 and then have to go back in for the other upgrades...

Car is booked in for two weeks from Monday ... doing a whole bunch of stuff first such as panel realignment, removing headlining to replace sunroof wiring loom, etc .. so still going ahead. Hopefully everything else arrives in time.

My rejection goes in on Monday after I extended my date from 22nd to 31st Oct. Car is booked in to stealers for another week for other bits not done earlier this month, and any ICTP updates that are available. The rejection is to cover my arse, if JLR can pull a fix out of the bag w/c 7th Nov happy days!! :D All I want is a working system as LOVE the car!!!!

I have a bonnet and passanger door that is correct EVERY OTHER panel is squint , the heating refuses to go off ,the window wipers don't work properly , my leather is creased ,my schooshers are out of line, my alarm goes of and you have to start car to switch it off ??? my headlights are out of line, thankfully I only have standard ictp or I would be over the edge I am not a complainer but £50 k on a car it should be right first time if not defo second time ..( they have had a chance to rectify things already )had one of the first Peugeot rcz cars -- nothing squint/ wrong/ great wee car so why can't jaguar do the same on a new release

Cause people let them get away with it, it's no just the Fpace but all new models owners complain of issues.

Good luck guys with the patch that 'will fix everything'. It certainly seems comprehensive given the number of things that are being updated. I am hoping it does resolve all issues just in time for my car which should have just finished being built. Looking forward to a fault free delivery on 20th Nov!

Just said I had one of the first Peugeot rcz to come into the country and everything was straight and correct ( mind you it was built in Austria with a bmw engine) PREMIUM CARS = PREMIUM BUILD ??? YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR ????

Yes they want mine in for 48 hours to install the update and fully check functionality. They have needless to say made a car available for me and are going to supply & fit free of charge a set of illuminated door treads (£370) to compensate me for any inconvenience.

The rub, my ICTP has been faultless for the last 4 weeks, apart from the frontparking sensor switch choosing when to activate, so I always engage reverse first to be absolutely certain they are operating.

Just in time for it's trip to rehab tomorrow it's developed two new (to me) foibles. The need to press the start button twice (on three consecutive starts today) and the dipped mirrors not returning to saved position (only from cold I.e not if car only left for a few minutes). Neither seem like ICTP issues but we shall see!
