Just been reading the Auto Express write up on the new Discovery 5 and it states it's getting a 4G setup.
How come we ended up with 3G when they were that close to 4G for the disco?

I think it's 3G. Looks like Autoexpress got it wrong.

Also surprised it will be launched with V6 diesel and petrol. I thought it would coincide with the launch of the in-line 6.

Maybe it's supposed to be 4G but only works 75% of the time?
