Anyone concerned with the ongoing problems worth taking a look at the consumer rights act which replaced the sale of goods act.
Clearly states full refund within 30 days
Full refund up to six months if fault from new
Refund or replacement after six months but have to prove fault was there at time of sale ( should be easy with evidence on this forum )
Also has changed regards they are only entitled to repair it ONCE unless agreed otherwise before you can request refund etc.

I think that's in reference to the new law that they only get one chance to fix it then you can kick it back to them rather than before where it could go back for repair / resolution again and again.
