Hi All,

My FE is due to arrive at the dealer soon and I'm planning to collect it in 10 days time. I can't wait!!

However it seems that Jaguar don't yet make a Caesium Blue touch-up paint to repair stone chips, etc

Has anyone else had discussions about this with their dealer?

Does your dealer offer chip/dent/scratch cover? I was surprised at how reasonable it was (£600/3yrs) and covers alloys and tyres too up to a maximum claim of £3000.

Seems like something I would use. In sure then they of course hold all responsibility for paint matching.

Just a though. Anyone else have experience of such things?

That's an idea, but I'm perfectly able to touch up the odd chip, and dealer insurance is usually overpriced

When I picked my FE up I queried the paint with the dealer and was reassured that it can be made (mixed) by any reliable outlet, if needed, I took the chip dent scratch cover anyway

Looks like the FE Caesium Blue will not be exclusive for long, available on XE, XF from June 2016
