Same for ITCP for location but mine flashes?catwoman said:Can't speak for what happens with ICTP, but if you have ICT then the alarm 'armed' light flashes within the left-hand speedometer dial of the main instrument cluster. The small bump in the centre of the dashboard, near the bottom of the windscreen is, I believe, just a sensor . . it doesn't flash (like happens on some other vehicles)
That's what the app is for! I regularly use it as a "did I lock the car?" check.747flyerplanes said:Surely the ideal place should be easily visible from outside the car, so you can check its locked from a distance
I guess since I park on the street often not outside my house I am more used to using the app which I found a great tool. I get your point though for all you lucky driveway owners.747flyerplanes said:The app, when it finally "talks" to the car is one long winded way to find out if car is locked I agree, however when checking the car is locked when in driveway etc surely a more visible sign is a better option?
I am sure if you speak to a local car alarm specialist they will be able to fit you a light in a suitable position your happy with747flyerplanes said:But why then have a tiny light on instrument panel telling you it's locked? Pointless!
