Jaguar UK tweeted this promotional message on twitter on June 19th:
Weighing in at just 1665kg, #FPACE feels nimble behind the wheel. Enjoy the feeling for 762 miles on a full tank.
. . together with a dramatic picture of an FE in Caesium Blue, racing towards the viewer.

Just wondering, has anyone actually managed to achieve that distance on a full tank yet?
. . . or anywhere near??

That weight is for a RWD manual only, and although I am getting nearly 50 mpg on a new engine...(on short trips to and from work 8 miles). I think as we all know 762 aian't going to happen in the real world we live in, maybe 600 is achievable on a steady run. If Jag want to pay my wages and fuel to Scotland... I would be willing to try... :? However if they wouldn't stretch to a set of splash guards for the cat I can't see that happing either
And of course the FE you mention being pictured, only came with the bigger engine / auto box , and a number of extras....DOH!!! Don't mention the FE extras Jags Cat  Oops think I got away with it... Just :?

52mpg overall from Barmouth to Stafford yesterday. Well chuffed. Not quite sure how that would calculate out as full tank range?
686.31 miles on a full tank...... not bad at all!

Well I assumed that for getting 52mpg it just has to be a 2.0 deisel and probably a manual. These have a 60 litre tank, the SC has a 66 litre so I will have a slight chance of getting maybe half that distance!!

Pretty sure the 3.0d is not 1665 kg, but more close to 1800.
I am guessing you can do that if you roll with 120km/h on a fine day on a straight road with no obstructions.
