yep seen that re 2033 thats the ofcom it shall be gone by date
mobile phone provides are shutting down sooner (2023) to divert resources into newer tech.
Business networks will survive longer to allow a swap over.

3G Network being turned off

Is it time for those who of us who still have older models that can only get 3G coverage to finally get shot of them? Surely functionally when the providers turn it off is permanently going to be lost.

I looked into it a bit further - 3G is data only using 2G for call handling - 5G has 2 working frequencies, one similar to 2G, i am going to ASSuME that it works on the same principle the lower frequency used for call handling and the higher for data.
Anytime I am on 5G the speed is pretty poor for a minute or so - going to guess again a lag in switching to the higher frequency for faster data speeds.
I stand to be corrected that 2+2=22 lol
Somewhere on the net said that 2G was included in the 3G sunset, not sure where or who this was could have been AT&T, but it was on the net so it must be true
Bit of irony, we are the 2nd owners of our F pace, the first EE, they seen it coming lol
