One week in and already back to the dealership. Bit miffed tbh. Infotainment system won't take the load of maps and the critical updates, USB port packed up in first two days and dash keeps going black and is hit and miss whether it comes back on. It's been in workshop for two days now and no one can tell me what's wrong. They've got specialists out to it and so far everyone is clueless. The uploads should take 20 minutes and times out after a few minutes like there's safeguards in place to stop over writing but techs are saying this is impossible. All in all a bit miffed as I've had it a week and already it gone and no word as to when it could be back. Worst news still if it is a new system required it's on 3 month back order with my steering wheel :(
Sad times, but at least they trying to sort it I suppose, got a loan fpace at the mo and it's just basic as, no cup holder cover

Dont forget to think carefully about whether you wish to reject the vehicle and at what stage you might do it and backed by what evidence including giving the dealer a reasonable chance to remedy the problem.

You might not start this process expecting to do it, but might end up doing so.

Oh dear... I feel for you...and the others here that have had issues form the off. Doesn't sound good if it has the techs baffled. :? :? My son is an Audi tech, andOnce they couldn't find a fault that effected a lot of systems..... Only to find on removing part of the dash that a mouse had eaten through part of a control loom ..   . When the car had been left open and unattedened for a few minutes and this was on a brand new car.
Let's hope that they can sort it out very soon. So far my experiance has been!!!! Don't want to temp fate here .

Unfortunately I have to agree with the above, arriving without heated steering wheel was bad, but now the ill fated in control pro system. Classic case of hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. Seriously though 3 months to get a new system, unbelievable.

I know it's a tough one. I love my car to bits but again if it's in more than its out of the garage you have to ask yourself if it's worth it. Just feels like the 9 month wait has been extended! Sad times

Had update tonight. Few days of complaining and they reckon they cracked the issues. It doesn't need a new system in the end but are flying, yes flying, a loaded USB stick from Sweden (apparently where the software is being sent from) car should be fully functional by tomorrow afternoon. Fingers crossed. But that's good news for everyone else that hopefully they've cracked the issues and have found ways to solve it. Will write again once we've heard tomorrow whether or not it's been achieved.

I've had my car for three weeks and absolutely love it and have done over 1000 miles so far. As I start to use more of the Infotainment system I'm getting a few little niggles.

The CD player has the ability to import (RIP) CD's and other media into the Media system

This is not work when I first tried after a week or so and the dealership took the car in for a s/w upgrade which seemed to allow me to burn the CD (1st one) into the Media system on the F Pace. I have noticed that it only allowed me to do this on the first Cd, failing on attempts to load are tracks from other CD's. My observation on the first (successful RIP) was that on the CD it had the artist and title displayed when playing the CD, but when I did the import (RIP) it just had track 01, track 02 etc. which is pretty useless when you have a few tracks and want to hunt down the one you want :(

The dealership (Harwoods) has asked that I bring the car in so that they can spend three days going through this in more details next week so will hopefully have a resolve here and will feedback

Still loving the car apart from this little niggle!

Nah scratch the happier post yesterday. USB was never despatched and never arrived this morning. So they went back to the drawing board. Still no closer, had a major stress out at the dealership manager as to why this is so difficult to solve! No one any closer but apparently my chassis number isn't active on the system?!? So Nav won't load without an active chassis. Apparently it isn't just as simple as turning it on or adding it either. Just frustrating. I've also been told mines the only car in the country with this issue?!? Seems to me either someone is in major denial or I'm just one very unlucky ducky! Back to sad face.
