Re: Blotches/premature wear on Portfolio light oyster seats

JLR do make things hard work. My dealer submitted the defect and got this response back. “Unable to assist as there is no manufacturing defect. The concern is indicative of an outside influence.” ..... The Oracle has spoken! I have had to call JLR and raise a case to escalate this. Spoke to a very p...

Blotches/premature wear on Portfolio light oyster seats

Hi, this is an issue I thought it might be helpful to document in case other owners in future have the same problem. Over the course of a year of owning my (otherwise excellent) F-pace I've noticed gradual discolouration of patches of my drivers seat. On pick up at new I had noticed a grey blemish o...

Re: Discontinued Colour

They seem to have dropped Dark Sapphire Blue too. We had chosen white until my wife saw a DSB in our village. The sun was shining and it looked gorgeous. I suppose similar effect to BRG. The website and the dealers colour samples don't do some colours justice. Art They re-named a bunch of colours a...

I’m not sure I’m willing to sign up to a contract until I’ve seen what it can provide first!
Get a pre-paid SIM with some data already loaded on it. Doesn't need to be expensive.

Between the instructions in your manual and the thread already referred to, you can find everything you need.

Re: All Season Tyre choice

I have heard back from JLR CS and they say they do not have an All Season recommendation for the Portfolio standard wheels in the UK. I've been following this thread with interest Jim as have also been thinking of changing my tyres to all season when they are next due to be replaced; the recent sno...

Re: New F pace choice....

This would have to be in the 2.0 diesel 180 still however has the 240 AWD auto is another £100 a month again that I just can’t justfiy. Would the feeling in the room be it’s well worth the £30 extra to go for the AWD auto 180ps? I would be getting this in caesium blue, with privacy glass and 20” sp...

Re: Another Car Theft Using a Relay Device

Why waste hard earned cash on "faraday bags" when a crisp packet does the job just as well? :-)

Re: Car in for warranty work

Mine had the washer jets replaced a couple of weeks ago. They said they didn't think it would make any difference. They were right and claimed that is how they are designed. Ditto. Though my dealers only told me they knew it would make no difference after I'd taken it in and then called them to say...

Re: Text To Voice

I have a Samsung S8 and for me, post the new v3 update of ICTP, texts are read out. It works fine (though oddly it only started working from the second time I started the car after picking it up post the update, first time round it didnt work). On bluetooth settings on the Samsung S8 you need to mak...
