Hm. I can't say I've experienced the same as you describe for the petrol S.
Very smooth and no jiggliness at low speed.....

Morning all I had a repair carried out by a well established co. that quite a lot of members have used. The door was completely paint resprayed which looks good. However, there are quite a few paint flecks on windows and windscreen. It is very evident on the windscreen when sun or night street light...

Get a diesel, it will be smoother and quieter :lol: Seriously though, that supercharged sounds like it would be more at home on a tractor than a £60k car...is it smoother once warmed-up? Get a diesel?! :lol: No chance. The noise is only evident on start up, it does not affect the driving experience...

Finally someone else with the same sound. I thought it was just me as I'm sure i didn't notice this in the first 6 months. I've now learnt to live with it although it does sound a tad diesel like on start up at the front. The exhausts fire up nicely and give a good V6 growl but the rapid fire knocki...
