Re: USB stick not recognised

Having had 2 1/2 years of frustration with this USB stick media malarky, I guess the first question would be, does it have ICTP pro and if so, what software version is it running? (there is an identification thread on here if you're not sure - does your home screen have 4 panels, or 3, for example?)...

Re: Softest seats ??? Artificial hip and don’t like Taurus

As an owner of both F Pace and XKR Convertible (X150) I think you are going to be slightly disappointed... I thought the leather quality was a step down from my previous X100 XKR when I bought the current one, but the F Pace continues the downward slide. As for the seats, the current post 2016 Lear ...

Re: MPG

The Bridgend factory is technically referred to as a 'plant within a plant' so they are 'JLR' built. The 5.0L AJ-V8 isn't used in any Ford Cars, only JLR products, though previous versions/capacities were in US brands and Aston Martin. The 'Mild Hybrid' 400 hp petrol engine is available now in Land ...

Re: F-Pace SVR coming soon?

It's a hard one..... Wait until update next year, but risk missing out on 5.0L s/c V8 in lieu of a possible V8 turbo replacement? I'm going to wait a bit, but will crack by September if no information is forthcoming. The day is coming when these behemoths will be banned.... Get them while they're ho...

Re: MPG

Ps.

Remember that the mpg quoted by trip computer is 10% over estimate.

My 3.0L s/c gets 23-25 mpg on average. Had 30 on flat runs on A roads and 15 when driving hard.

Real world values, not JLR adjusted figures for the Chelsea set.... :-)

Re: MPG

One quick question. We know 25t , 35t are JLR in house engines. What about V6 supercharged is it JLR or ford ? Also what about this new V8 engine JLR or ford ? Thanks. The V8 isn't new and goes back to the mid nineties XK8/XJ when it was 4.0L 4.2 2002 to 2008, then 5.0L to date The V6 is the V8 wit...

Re: Switching to an FPace?

Will be worth the wait! To add a bit to the DS legroom argument, the daughter has just pointed out the little levers under the rear seats, which when pulled, allow them to slide backwards! Not sure if this is a feature of all DSs, but when forward there is not enough room behind my seat for me to si...

Re: Automatic Full Beam causing road rage

Do others find the automatic full beam comes on far too quickly when it senses the car in front disappearing for a split second. I can be following a car on a county lane and if i go down a slight dip the full beam will come on and off giving the car in front the thought that I'm flashing them. Sim...

Re: Rear Leg Room?

I sadly, currently have a DS sitting on the drive outside my house. Would even prefer a Citroen DS to this POS.... However, I have several tape measures and laser measures. Where would anyone like me to start? Peter Capaldi was the best Doctor, but even he can't beat the Maths in this case. It's a c...

Re: F-Pace SVR coming soon?

So. Had extended test today and included some pretty poor lanes and can report that the ride is firm, but more refined than my s/c 3.0S. Seats are 'thinner' but seem to fit me better and were very comfortable. If you've only driven the diesel versions then you would be amazed at just how refined it ...
