Re: F pace service

Correction. You certainly do NOT have to stick to Jaguar for warranty. Any garage can service your car provided they are vat registered and use approved parts. Any warranty issues identified from a service have to be carried out by Jaguar even though they have not serviced the car. This is the law ev...

Re: Brake disc replacements

Jaguar are buying discs from a cheap supplier probably several, you won’t find out who because nobody is going to admit supplying discs that corrode and need replacing in 2 or 3 years, the discs on mine are still good after nearly 3 yrs, if I had to replace them I would use a good aftermarket brand...

Re: More engine woes

JLR should have stayed with the Ford sourced engines instead of the already outdated inferior Ingenium offering. Hope none of you have Turbo or Balance shaft problems causing a loud whine as JLR have informed the dealer network that as this is not a safety related issue they will no longer supply a ...

Re: Current XF but fancy an F Pace!

Stick to your XF! I rejected 2 brand new FPaces because of drive line vibration on both which JLR claimed was a characteristic of the vehicle so I went back to the reliable All wheel drive XF Sportbrake. The problem with the F pace is ongoing even after 3 years according to my dealer.

Re: Jaguar Used Warranty

This has been in force for some time as part of the desperate measures to cut costs at JLR. Dealer demonstrators up to 6 months old are still covered by the 3 year warranty but so called “ex Jaguar management “ vehicles and dealer trade ins are now 1 year warranty with exclusions on fair wear and te...

Re: Issues with Warranties Customer Service and Main dealer failing to action for a long time

Due to poor quality leather now featuring on JLR vehicles I have already had 2 new front seat covers fitted to my Sportbrake under warranty. The original drivers seat creased and the Oyster finish paint just came off the piping mainly on the driver seat bolster. My daughter has had a similar problem...
