Re: Cost to replace rear brake pads

This is robbery with violence. Mintex pads ( branded for JLR). for the F Pace are £39.79 ( E bay) for the axle set and fitting time is 30 - 45 minutes .
Fitting of pads is not rocket science so Halfords or a Kwik fit fitter are fine.

Re: 10 days and counting- what can I ask the dealer for

It isn’t the case of what you can squeeze out of the dealer it is more what more they will attempt to squeeze out of you when you are sitting across the desk signing all the paperwork before they will hand over the keys. You have to sign even when you reject their kind offer for the items listed bel...

Re: The silliest statement ever made - rybrook warrington

Dan must be new and not yet up to speed with the way Jaguar Customer services are trained to deal with customers. I well remember the day that during my rejection process Dr Speth wrote to me and told me that his department would “reach out to me in solving my problems with my F Pace”. .The next thi...

Re: Just received the car yesterday and with extensive oxide parts

Could this be the result of the fact that 1000s of built and unsold JLR vehicles are being stored in less than ideal conditions at Gaydon, Fen End , Bruntingthorpe, and other sites around the Midlands? “New” vehicles reaching dealers may be not just built and factory fresh as one would expect but ha...

Re: Problems with the condition of my drivers seat Leather

I have got exactly the same problem on my 13 month old XF Sportbrake with the piping on my drivers seat together with scratches to the leather facings. I sent a photo to my dealer and they replied immediately informing me that there was a recall in place on Oyster leather seats and two complete fron...

Re: Vibration issue for over a year

I rejected my 2 new F Paces for exactly the same problem as you are experiencing. There is no cure for this problem and JLR now say that it is a characteristic of the car so in other words they will not address the problem. Shameful response from JLR but they made it clear to me that they don’t like...

Re: I-Pace Awarded Car of the Year 2019 at Geneva Motor Show

I spent yesterday at the Geneva motor show and JLR had no stand or presence there at all.
The subject of some amusement from BMW and MERCEDES that the I pace had won a prestigious award but the company who make it ... well who knows what will happen to them.

Re: JLR in trouble?

I just wonder if this “Investment “ announcement is to counteract the fact that part of Tata wants rid of JLR.

Any offers?

Re: JLR in trouble?

Rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic comes to mind. It is doubtful that this investment can in the short term reverse the gigantic losses being suffered from falling sales and mounting warranty claims to deal with the ongoing quality issues. All very sad but unfortunately brought about by the c...

Re: iPace - anyone seen in the flesh on the road?

My dealer loaned me their demo I Pace for a day when my XF was having the ICTP upgrade and Apple play added recently. Fantastic driving experience and potential licence looser! Build quality excellent but far too expensive for me to consider one new. Followed another I Pace during the day and in my ...
