Re: SIM card not supported!

Just a thought my early 2016 Fpace is 3G, I am.just guessing but if you have an early Fpace and your SIM is not 3G/4G that could be the issue? Later Fpace do support 4G so this issue would be unlikely. I am also unsure if you can get a 4G only SIM hence the guessing aspect :)

Re: Smart Key not recognised

If you have keyless entry, but even without using it, it must respond to the car's requests if in range so I think the keys are "on" 24-7... used or not. Obviously using key's buttons increases drain as it becomes an active transmitter instead of an active responder? Or have I got that 100% wrong? A...

Re: Smart Key not recognised

My previous xf told me fob battery was weak, surely that feature would still be there?

Re: Smart Key not recognised

People have posted similar before, you don't keep the fob near a cell phone? Apparently the screen can act as a signal block forcing you to go through the process you. I stopped keeping phone and fob together and problem has gone.

Re: How important is Adaptive LED Headlight as an option?

All options are only good for your personal choice. They are all only going to give at best a 10% return on cost in trade in value. But some options make a car more saleable than a similar car without the option. So if you trade a car in, they don't affect the price as much as the model variant but ...

Re: Puncture and spare

To be fair I didn't hold one in each hand at the same time, i wouldn't be able to, but it was very heavy. The spare is also bigger than any other wheel and tyre I've ever had on any previous car. Considering it's a space saver it's crazy big (and heavy).

Re: Puncture and spare

Good post, I had puncture recently and getting matching tyre was a 24hr wait. Without the spare the car was undriveable, the puncture was from a lump of steel about 3cm long. It wouldn't hold pressure and I doubt the gloop would have helped either. I know the weight impacts economy but really why wo...

Re: Is the jag sat nav rubbish ?

Yes, I have the ICTP which appears not to be as sophisticated as your system. Thanks for your help. And that sums up ICTPro... it's worse than standard system but costs more. :( Looking on the brightside it no longer costs more as it is the standard system on MY19  So the bright side is Jaguar...
