Sorry to read this...
What about going for 20 inches tyres?
You get them for free and you ask for free snow tyres plus a compensation.

Re: Adaptive Dynamics - worth it when it works?

Thanks corriescar66. I hope that I will enjoy it too otherwise I might sell it very quickly and buy a Macan until I find a good plug in hybrid SUV with a big trunk (I live in the Alps, have a 3 year old girl and a second one on the way, i ski a lot, play golf and do mountain bike). I would love a Ve...

Re: Adaptive Dynamics - worth it when it works?

Hi Snowman :) Happy to share my thoughts. I've tried another 20d R-Sport with AD (coming from the same dealer so most probably with the same piece of software) and it was behaving the same way as mine. So to summarize: AD in normal mode: ride is good on good roads. Every time I drove on a hole or a ...

Thanks JLR#5 :-)
I hope I’ll enjoy this one.
Then I’ll check the Velar if I have enough money.

Re: Adaptive Dynamics - worth it when it works?

I collectionned my second F-Pace yesterday and it comes without AD as I was not happy with the system. I can say I did the right choice as the drive is much better in terms of comfort. The isn’t wobbly or harsh. I don’t fear speed bumps. Have only done 50km but I felt it immediately. The only drawba...

Re: Off to give the Range Rover Velar a go...

Great review Arianne and pleasing to hear how much you’re getting on with it. Vote No.2 for The Inn. We were there earlier this year and a lovely spot. Just one update for you - The MY2018 F Pace DOES. Have automatic front parking sensors, and it’s configurable as to whether they are on or not. Jus...

Re: Adaptive Dynamics - worth it when it works?

I’m on 19 rims.
I’ll get my car this Friday so I’ll be able to tell you if I confirm it’s better without AD.
What I’ve come to understand is that those without AD are never complaining about how their car rides while those with AD do...

Re: Adaptive Dynamics - worth it when it works?

Have a 2.0d R-Sport with AD and will receive the same without AD this week. In the last couple of months I ended up driving in Dynamic only as the ride is much less bouncy. I test drove without AD and I felt the ride was much smoother. I will miss the more stable turns but I will not miss the harsh ...

Re: SQ5 Plus

I'm into my third week with the TTS and one similarity between it and the F-Pace S has been the ride in comfort mode over a certain road I frequent, both cars sway side to side which restores my faith that mine at least was behaving as normal. Despite having a hoot in the TTS I still miss the old g...
