Re: wax after 7 months or polish plus protect or nothing...

18 months on from my ceramic coating it’s still coming up well with a 1 hr start to finish, foam, rinse, dry - done. It had some swirls and few minor marks / scratches. I got some mobile guys to come out and they spent about 4 hrs giving it a proper going over, decontamination and re-application of ...

Re: TDI Tuning Box CRTD4

Unlike reprogramming the ECU, the box can be removed leaving no trace. Reprogramming can be the same. I have a map created and a box that I fit to the ODBC port, press a few icons on the screen and load up either the new mapping or the original map. Can put on and off at will very easily. I remove ...

Re: Interior Plastic easily scratches?

I’ve had mine nearly two years now and surprised about scratching comments. Interior around gear and cup holders I was about to say has zero scratches but I’ve found one deepish small one I’ve never noticed. Plastic around seats in front and on window inside I have zero scratches. Boot Sill has mark...

Re: ICTP Patch 4.0

So what are the improvements / suggested fixes with version 4.
My 3.5 has been ok though not perfect so happy to take an improvement but don’t want a step back now.
Version 3 I was happy to take anything as it was so slow and glitchy.

Re: 2.0 litre, 300PS Petrol ingenium

Sounds a solid choice and I’ve driven it in the Ftype, it’s pretty good though there is an obvious preference for me personally on the V6 and the 380. It gives a bit more power and I’d expect more torque as well which certainly is handy on a heavy car so personally I would go for the 300. It has bee...

Re: F-Pace SVR coming soon?

To be honest I’ve driven the v6 and the 2.0 turbo and given the weight difference between the two power plants I didn’t really feel very much difference and a 3.0 in London is pointless anyway The SVR will appeal to petrol heads me being one who just love that v8 noise being a classic American car ...

Re: Tyre choices Pirelli v Continental

Interesting differences in price.

My ATS is very convenient and easy to get work done so that helps.
I’ve just had it done and for 6 months storage and swap was under £90 inc VAT.
£90 or £60 isn’t too much for me to worry about given convenience but I agree £127 then starts to really push it.
