Re: 2017 FPace CarPlay & Updates

I should have looked at it closely as thought I could use car play for the music etc but didn’t think about the Navigation.
So you can’t run the car Nav as Apple Car Play takes over completely.
How are people getting on with Apple Maps rather than the in built.

Re: Map Update

Yes need the 64GB as 32 after formatting and putting the file on just doesn’t quite fit (about a 100 Mb or so short)

64GB works fine. I updated mine last week before my warranty expires and got all my systems updated at garage for the other stuff.

Re: Exhaust upgrade

Just to answer the question about exhaust noise earlier on I can confirm you can dramatically change the sound. A few years back I changed to the quicksilver system which replaces the back boxes. 24 hrs later I had them removed and stock put back on. Much louder (and lower tone) which was fine but w...

Re: One happy lady!

Very good to hear. 3 litre petrol you see. Excellent choice, I’m hitting 3 years now and plan to keep it at least a year probably 2.

Re: F-Pace SVR deals

Let us know how you get one. I have the 3 litre petrol and love it still nearly 3 years on. I have been hankering with the idea of an upgrade within 12 months.

Re: SVR Options Advice

As noted on another thread I still think the MPG should be better than my X5M unless it is down to my driving style. I have now done 70k miles and averaged just over 21MPG. I would take 25MPG any day as that would still be almost a 20% improvement. My dealer has now called my car from the factory s...

Re: SVR Options Advice

For the first 10k my 5.0l s/c would get about 21mpg if driven carefully, but now I get 25 mpg, up to 27mpg. It goes on luck, how you run it in and how you drive it. Sadly, if you guys are quoting what the trip computer says knock off 10% to get the real mpg. The Dacia duster is a fabulous use of sp...

Re: InControl Renewal & Extended Warranty

Just had email from JLR bang on 1 month before expiry with link through to shop.incontrol.jaguar.com 12 month renewal which includes Remote Premium is £30. Also states that if I don't renew "Your Jaguar eCall emergency service will continue to operate, with no charge to you, for a period of 10 year...

Re: InControl Renewal & Extended Warranty

Interested in this as am I right in thinking you lose the remote start if you let the subscription expire ? Either way I would want to renew and I did look on the Jag website and followed a few links but didn’t really get anywhere, Something so simple you would think you could just buy from within y...

Re: 22inch winter tyres

Yes smitten, they supplied and fitted but I’ve been back a few times just for the refitting now and the originals I never bought from them. Think they would be happy enough if you already have the tyres. They get the storage and fitting each time. I pay around £80-90 all in to swap the tyres and abo...
