Re: What are you sound settings?

I had another look and on mine it actually isn't-5 to +5. Its in bars so more like -10 to +10. Bass +2 Treble +10 Subwoofer +10 Fader +2 See how you get on with it. The mrs has just ordered a new evoque HSE r dynamic with all the bells and whistles but same 380w meridian system. Will be interesting ...

Re: What are you sound settings?

I have 380w meridian and for me: Bass +1 Treble +5 Subwoofer +5 Fader +2 towards the front for better sound stage to me as the driver. Bass on +1 because as punchy as it gets with a higher setting, it also means when the volume is cracked up the door speakers seem to struggle. So prefer to leave the...

Re: 22" powder coat mismatch

Well I picked my car up and was told they still werent happy with the colour. Apparently it is a perfect match until they apply the lacquer which changes the colour with a yellow tinge. They have told me to go back in a few weeks when they will order some lacquer and for the trouble they have refund...

Re: 22" powder coat mismatch

Its going back in tomorrow. The manager suggested that they might have used the wrong paint. Will let you know if they manage to improve the match. The finish is spot on in terms of the finish and gloss, just the shade of colour.

Re: 22" powder coat mismatch

I tried the jaguar dealer and he called me back earlier to say they dont have paint codes for wheels, only bodywork. TWS have asked me to bring it in tomorrow so they can have another go at colour matching or ordering paint if necessary. Will keep everyone updated I was on Google last night trying t...

Re: 22" powder coat mismatch

Dont necessarily want to put my hand in my pocket to do the front as well. The original is the darker shade and I haven't had any luck finding the correct colour code. They do look similar to first edition wheels although maybe the paint they used was first edition I have no idea. Topix description ...

Re: 22" powder coat mismatch

Not much further back but a different photo without the wide angle lens. And some close ups.

I'm kicking myself for not checking it properly when I picked up and paid and signed the docs to say they have done it.

22" powder coat mismatch

Hi All, I just wanted some opinions of those that might have experience. I had one of my alloys refurbished due to some minor curb damage. Now this was gutting enough as the car is barely 6 months old, however I was put at ease when I was told they had done the same colour on a jaguar a few weeks pr...

Re: 300 Sport Petrol - a thirsty cat.

I have a 300 sport petrol and usually get between 23 to 30mpg and that's with spirited driving A and B roads. 9 times out of 10 with dynamic mode switched on. Currently at 6K on the clock. Best I have seen it 38mpg on a long drive up to Yorkshire. Worst was on short drives or when I first picked it ...
