Re: 300 Sport Petrol - a thirsty cat.

I have a 300 sport petrol and usually get between 23 to 30mpg and that's with spirited driving A and B roads. 9 times out of 10 with dynamic mode switched on. Currently at 6K on the clock. Best I have seen it 38mpg on a long drive up to Yorkshire. Worst was on short drives or when I first picked it ...

Re: Caught a wall

Thanks both. Zarakoff I'd rather not have to send my wheel anywhere and dont have a spare to be able to put it on temporarily. Based on what smitten has said I will go option of going to a wheel specialist and having it powder coated. Do they need a paint code or any other info or will they colour m...

Caught a wall

Firstly, what a plonker I am. I caught a low wall in a stupid car park because a stupid parking space was too small and the entrance to pull out was too frickin narrow. Damage to my once immaculate 5 month old car was luckily only the wheel but it doesmt make me feel amy better. Going to need to get...

Re: Jaguar Used Warranty

This has been in force for some time as part of the desperate measures to cut costs at JLR. I'd like to think one of the senior bods at jaguar have scenario planned the savings of 1 extra year warranty vs reduced used car sales or greater dealer/manufacturer contributions to shift stock. Being a pr...

Re: Jaguar Used Warranty

Glad that I'm not the only one that thinks this move by JLR is controversial. A JLR vehicle is usually a heart over head purchase but the one comfort blanket for people buying approved used was that JLR were 'confident' enough to put 2 years warranty on for peace of mind. Maybe extended warranty pac...

Re: Jaguar Used Warranty

I noticed that too, it can't be more than two months. I suspect someone at JLR HQ thought it would be a massive cost saving and to align themselves with other manufacturers that offer 1 year as standard who still dont have problems shifting motors on their own approved used schemes. I think in reali...

Re: Illuminated scuffplates

I'd be interested to know this as well. Coming from a discovery sport that did have them it's a nice little touch and one you think they could or should have put on the 300 sport.
Maybe not enough left in the parts bin...

Re: Aston DBX

It has a very similar side profile to f pace and the rear 'haunches' but I still think f pace has it. The rear is very much reminiscent of Renault's budget SUV offerings and for some reason when i look at the front i cant get the Ford mondeo out of my head. That said, lovely interior and i wouldn't ...
