Re: SVR accent paint colour

2050 miles in and no chips on paint, accents or black alloys luckily. Now I've said that I'll probably get some 🤭

I also think the grey accents look great against the Ultra Blue and black alloys 😎

Re: SVR - clicking noise when steering

So far haven't noticed any clicking on mine and I've been parking most week days in a multi storey carpark. Brakes have a slight squeak to them but nothing serious (yet!) Had very squeaky brakes many years ago on my Evo VI, used to go right through you like running finger nails down a school blackbo...

Re: Svr incoming

Absolutely loving my SVR! Just hit 1800 miles and it def seems to be a bit louder now but perhaps that's just because I'm pushing more. Getting 13 - 27mpg depending on the journey, I just got back from a family holiday in La Rochelle and managed to get 16-20 mpg with four bikes on the roof and towin...

Re: Picking up SVR Friday

Hopefully the weather will improve into September for you guys. I'm off to France in mine tomorrow, hoping to find some nice driving roads in the sun :)

Re: Hi guys

Hi Teavah, you won't be disappointed with the SVR! Try and get a test drive, there seems to be quite a few sitting on dealer forecourts at the moment. I was originally after a used V6 S but after driving it was a little disappointed so I went for a new SVR. I did have a look into the GLC 63s but a l...

Re: 360 surround camera

Looks like mine has completely failed now. No amount of off and on again works! I managed 6 days of trouble free ownership.

Edit: Just booked it in for Monday morning - fantastic service from Guy Salmon Coventry as usual!

Re: 360 surround camera

Did you get to the dealer to have it looked at? What was the resolution? I've driven my SVR 10 times now and twice the front camera has refused to work! I just get a grey coloured screen for any view using that camera. A full off and on again did the trick but it's very annoying to find it not worki...

Re: GAP, Tyre & Alloy Insurance

I just checked Direct Gap and they won't cover the cost of the SVR unfortunately.

Re: GAP, Tyre & Alloy Insurance

I'm also just in the process of arranging GAP cover. If you check the ALA website they aren't offering Alloy, Tyre or Scratch and Dent cover at the moment, not sure why, I haven't had chance to call them yet.

And FORUM123 still works for the discount :)
