the only problem is that to block GSM signal is way easier.
alternative tracking security systems use longer length radio waves which are way more difficult to jam.

Re: widebody kit for f-pace
true, if I damage the kit parts insurance would not cover.
I got Pirelli Scorpion Winter - the only model I could find to fit the standard 22" dimensions.
so far I like them, only on ice I get a bit more nervous, but for that you have to use studs, so no complains.

Re: widebody kit for f-pace
Actually I thought it over and I think I will be happpy with the standard. In winter I need winter tires and getting 22” was already difficult, so with wide arches it would looks ridiculous in winter season..
Also not sure if it would make it more difficult to sell the car in a few years..

Re: No roof rails?
I had roof rails installed on my old Evoque with panorama roof by my dealer. Never had any issues with the roof afterwards (no rattling, no squeaks). I do agree that the set was expensive (parts+labor). but I was going to carry my new carbon windsurf board, so I wanted to pamper it with the best opt...

Re: General Comment On ICTP System & Service Departments
I think it is a challenge for every manufacturer to get into software business. Those who partnered with specialized IT companies to build their user interfaces (like Audi) are winning this game. Looks like JLR is going that direction also, instead of inhouse team. This will payoff if customers will...

Re: Remote start - again slight twist
I have a German market car which I use outside Germany, so I cannot start the car remotely on the App. However I have "Timed Climate with Remote Control" option which gives me another fob to start the heating from a distance and also on the Remote app I can turn it on via internet. I guess it is a b...

I also agree that Phase4 will be enhanced with minor improvements.
I suppose Phase5 would come with new hardware on new car models.

Re: Just a head's up - Over the air update now working on RR Velar
brilliant. unfortunately my Mobile Data is stuck on "Reading SIM" and cannot use it. does not allow to switch off/on or reset anyhow.. tried several sim cards. so need to go to dealer. but very good news that on subsequent updates there will be no need to schedule for visits to the dealer. I hope JL...
