Re: Jaguar Remote App (New Version 2)

nice. I like it supports FaceID, so no need to enter pincode for climate/unlock.

Re: InTouch Pro Navigation Connectivity

it is very complicated from user perspective as they have multiple registration for each service. 1. Jaguar Remote works via embedded sim card in the car. it's completely separate system. it will not connect the car to internet/maps.. it's just for the app functionality to work on your phone or inco...

Re: Meridian or Meridian Surround?

I'm disappointed with the Surround quality. on my old Evoque it had twice the kick.. on F-Pace it is like meh... it's basically OK, but there is really no wow factor, where on Evoque I was always pleasantly surprised when I'd crank up the volume. on F-Pace also way more rattles. so if you think of d...

Re: Stolen velars

the only problem is that to block GSM signal is way easier.
alternative tracking security systems use longer length radio waves which are way more difficult to jam.

Re: widebody kit for f-pace

true, if I damage the kit parts insurance would not cover.

I got Pirelli Scorpion Winter - the only model I could find to fit the standard 22" dimensions.
so far I like them, only on ice I get a bit more nervous, but for that you have to use studs, so no complains.

Re: widebody kit for f-pace

Actually I thought it over and I think I will be happpy with the standard. In winter I need winter tires and getting 22” was already difficult, so with wide arches it would looks ridiculous in winter season..
Also not sure if it would make it more difficult to sell the car in a few years..

widebody kit for f-pace

Hi, anybody has installed a bodykit on your F-Pace? I'm looking at some pictures and still trying to decide if I want it. I have the S in Cesium Blue with Black package. here is what I found so far: 1. LUMMA: https://www.zero2turbo.com/2017/05/lumma-design-jaguar-f-pace-clr-f-in-south-africa.html 2....

Re: No roof rails?

I had roof rails installed on my old Evoque with panorama roof by my dealer. Never had any issues with the roof afterwards (no rattling, no squeaks). I do agree that the set was expensive (parts+labor). but I was going to carry my new carbon windsurf board, so I wanted to pamper it with the best opt...

Re: General Comment On ICTP System & Service Departments

I think it is a challenge for every manufacturer to get into software business. Those who partnered with specialized IT companies to build their user interfaces (like Audi) are winning this game. Looks like JLR is going that direction also, instead of inhouse team. This will payoff if customers will...
