Re: First service

Thanks Jeffrey. I could not find that information on the jag website and it wasn't in my owners booklet I note your vehicle is diesel. I believe the schedule Jeffrey posted is for a petrol F-Pace. It is slightly different for diesel variants. Afraid I can't help you with the actual schedule for die...

Re: Scottish Borders - Change in Dealership (Again)

It seems odd but somehow Jaguar is falling through the cracks of their plan in some more rural areas. Of course they don’t seem to understand the implications in Scotland , this is bourne out by just having Inverness , Elgin and Perth in the highlands...next closest being airshire. A friend of mine...

Re: Strange engine or transmission noise?

Fuel burning heater, that's a new one on me, is yours a UK car?. It's there probably to make the interior heater work more quickly, must check mine. The squeal sounds like a dodgy alternator or belt drive on load after a cold start open the bonnet and it should be easy to identify. If it is the alt...

Re: Satnav co-ordinates

It works on the search box in the car as well. There are many places in my vicinity that do not have a postal address. I use the Long Lat coordinates quite frequently.

Re: Petrol vs. Diesel

I went from a 3.0 SDV6 Range Rover (diesel) to the 300t F-Pace R-Sport and haven't looked back. At first the fuel consumption was dire (19mpg!) and went to the dealer to complain. He advised that the engine was set up to run rich for the first 1000 to 1500 miles and that the engine would become far ...

Re: Total Customer Care Failure- Lancaster Reading

June 16, if you are coming to live anywhere near Inverness, there is only one dealer and you'll be pleased to hear that in over 30 years of doing business with them I have not had any serious disappointments with them. I, like you, expect a reasonably high level of service, and they do try to achiev...

Re: Free 200M per month data sim

MY19 owners get 500M free data SIM. Don't try topping this up though, they want your first born for 1 MB of data!

Do the MY19 cars in the UK with ICTP still have the Twin USB ports + HDMI + sim card configuration or has the HDMI port been dropped?
Jim,

My MY19 has twin USB ports + SIM card but has zero HDMI port.

Re: Total Customer Care Failure- Lancaster Reading

You would very likely have had better service at a Kwik-fit. Are you sure it wasn't done by Kwik-Fit? I know my dealer farms out all their tyre requests to ATS next door, if they put a trained JLR mechanic, or even an apprentice, on the job you would charge you 50% more than you already paid!! Chec...

Re: Tyres

Just had Continental Winter Contact TS 850 P fitted to the car and no skipping with these at all, the only problem is I need colder weather to really test them out !!! Come and visit me in a month or so's time and you should be able to play with your new tyres to your heart's content. We already ha...
